Q: I've never purchased a home before. What is the first thing I should do?

Q: As a buyer, why should I hire a real estate agent?

A: Buyers do NOT pay to have a buyer's agent represent them in the purchase of a home. That includes when you build! It is critical to hire an agent that represents you and your best interest from finding the home, to writing contracts, to negotiation, to closings. 

Q: Can I start looking at homes before talking to a lender?

A: We advise speaking with a lender to receive a pre-approval prior to looking at homes. Homes can move quickly in this market and it's best to be prepared to make an offer, if you choose to. 

Q:  Who do I talk to get pre-approved?

Q: I'm pre-approved, what's next?

A: Begin searching for homes! Reach out to one of our agents so that we can work together to form a list of qualities you are looking for in a home. We can begin searching based on your criteria and show you homes that interest you. 

Q: I found my home and want to submit an offer. How do I do that? 

A: By working with one of our agents, we will write all contracts and negotiate all offers on your behalf. We offer digital signing with all documentation, so you are able to complete all necessary paperwork from the comfort of your home. 

Q: What comes after an accepted contract? 

A: Inspections, Appraisals, and working with your lender and the underwriter to ensure loan approval. 

Q: Why should I list my home with an agent versus trying to sell it myself?

A: Data proves that homes listed by a licensed real estate agent close for more than homes sold by an owner. Listing FSBO can result in many unqualified buyers attempting to access your home. In addition, licensed real estate agents have access to the largest networks that exceed just the MLS. Marketing goes beyond just online databases.
